The Replacements
In a comedy story that talks about the American football team, where Sentinels players suddenly strike in the professional soccer derby in 1987, which will cause a disaster for the team coach as well as the owner of the club. Coach Jack Hackman and owner Jack Warden are proposing to play instead of the team, as well as midfielder Bret Cullen. Everything will probably go well.

There isn't a football cliche "The Replacements" doesn't tackle, but its all-star cast and easygoing approach make it one of the more enjoyable recent sports comedies.

At least the ending doesn't cop out. There is no big happy ending where everyone gets a pro football gig or a big Nike ad campaign.
